Narrative Description of Project:

Sheet Pilling cover length approx. 300 feet; following are the main objectives of the project: a. To assess the extent of damage and propose remedial measures to MS sheet piling. b. To design all the damaged structural components. c. To assess the damage to Masonry wall and propose and design boundary wall with appropriate material. d. To assess and propose remedy for strengthening of RCC members at outfall including all types of testing. e. Tests and Surveys at site.

Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff within the Assignment:

• Conceptual design and budgetary estimate for KE decision making • Detailed Design • Construction Contract Documents • Technical Specifications • Bill of Quantities • Drawings • Assisting KE in the shortlisting of Contractor and Bid evaluation • Conduct Bathymetric Survey to determine the seabed levels. • Conduct Condition Survey Report of the sheet piles to study the extent of deterioration of sheet piles and associated structures. • Preparation of As-built Drawings with the data assembled by on-site survey. • Prepared Inception Report. • Conducted Destructive and Non-Destructive tests to evaluate condition of Existing Structures. • Prepared Technical Specifications for Tender Documents (including General, Demolition, Earthworks, Concrete works, Block masonry, Plastering, Painting and Sheet Piling) • Prepared Design Calculation Reports (both Cantilever and Anchored Sheet Piles) • Prepared complete Tender Drawings. • BOQ for Bidding Documents and Engineer’s Estimate. • Reviewed Contractor’s work methodology for construction work. • Compliance with K-Electric SOP for contractor’s safety SP-022. • Scrutiny of contractor’s rates • Construction Supervision
