Narrative Description of Project:

In view of future industrialization in Sindh province, three industrial enclaves have been identified by the client SEZMC which are in Sukkur, Hyderabad and Shaheed Benazirabad Districts of Sindh province. SEZMC hired the consultant for Feasibility Studies and Transaction Advisory Services to develop these new industrial enclaves under Public Private Partnership mode. The establishment of the Industrial Zones shall have positive implications on the socio-economic outlook of the entire region. The project is expected to bolster the regional economy by bringing substantial local/foreign investment and will create huge number of direct and indirect job opportunities for the locals. Approx area of these enclaves are: 1. Sukkur District, approx. 400 acres. 2. Hyderabad Sindh 988 acres (500+451+37). 3. Shaheed Benazirabad District, approx. 100 acres. (Total Covered area in Acres: 1500 Approx.)

Description of Actual Services Provided by Our Staff within the Assignment:

The Technical feasibility of the three industrial areas have been carried out using the Topographic Survey, Electrical Resistivity Survey, traffic study and geotechnical survey. The Master plan of all the three enclaves will be developed and then the detailed design of the infrastructure will be done, which will include the design of roads, electrical network, water supply and sewerage network along with storm water drainage and Effluent treatment plant. The design will also include the design of Administration block and other office blocks, electrical substations, water tanks, pump rooms, guardrooms and boundary walls.
