Narrative Description of Project:
The Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), an executive department under Pakistan's Ministry of Defence Production, is spearheading the development of a new, purpose-built Expo Center at DHA City Karachi through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to address the limitations of the existing Karachi Expo Center and accommodate the growing International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) biennially, along with other expositions. DEPO seeks transaction advisors to conduct a comprehensive commercial feasibility study covering legal, technical, and financial aspects, recommend an optimal transaction structure, manage a transparent bidding process, negotiate the PPP concession agreement, and facilitate timely financial closure for a win-win partnership between public and private sectors. Approximate covered area of Expo Centre is 85-120 Acres.
