The Study is being conducted for two districts of Karachi i.e., District Central & District South. Surveys for Street Lights inventory are being conducted in both districts on all Expressways (if any), All Arterials and Collector Roads and 10% of the local roads. The Consultant is also collecting the data from K-Electric regarding following items: o Energy consumption o Current energy tariff applicable to the street lighting system o Energy bills raised o Payments made o Operational Hours The Consultant is collecting the data from other stakeholders such as local government, district administration etc. The Data collected from the field will be mapped on GIS using QGIS Software. The map will show the road classification in both the districts and street light locations on the roads. The further details of the inventory surveys will be presented in attribute tables of GIS.
